About Roadhouse Blues Band
‘Roadhouse’ Playing a mixture of traditional smoking blues(BB King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Jimi Hendrix etc) and rockin’ boogie(George Thorogood, Stevie Ray Vaughan..etc). We can also can play a variety of other types of music when the occasion needs! We have performed at several Blues Festivals in France in 2010/11 including Cahors and 'Les Rairies Rocks', having built up a good following in North Bristol & South Glos. which is our home turf. We describe our particular type of Blues as “ rockin’ blues”. We do have a USP, which is that the vocals are shared by 3 members of the band bringing a different dimension to every number we perform. We play a mixed bag from “ The Thrill Is Gone”, “Red House Blues” to a very bluesy “Mustang Sally” all with our particular twist, making it our own. The band has over 100 years of musical experience and all agree that this is the most exciting most successful meeting of musical minds we have ever had.
